BREASTSCEEN ELECTORATE REPORT CARD ABOVE AVERAGE

Nick Wakeling, Member for Ferntree Gully and Parliamentary Secretary for Health, is calling on more Victorian women aged 50-69 to participate in free mammograms, particularly in the Ferntree Gully electorate.
In a show of bi-partisan support in aid of an important health initiative, Victorian State Members of Parliament joined together recently for the release of the inaugural ‘electorate report card' at Parliament House.
SAFER CROSSING IN TIME FOR NEW SCHOOL YEAR

Nick Wakeling, Member for Ferntree Gully and Parliamentary Secretary for Health, is pleased to announce that another election promise has been met in the Ferntree Gully electorate with works commencing on an upgrade to the pedestrian crossing on Wellington Road, Rowville, near Westminster Drive.
VICTORIAN COALITION GOVERNMENT DELIVERS ON PROMISE TO CREATE SAFER SCHOOLS

Nick Wakeling, Member for Ferntree Gully and Parliamentary Secretary for Health, has announced that Ferntree Gully North Primary School is among the first of almost 300 primary schools that will receive funding for a welfare officer as part of a $124.4 million Victorian Coalition Government election commitment to help stamp out bullying and provide additional support to students and families.
The expansion of the Primary Welfare Officer (PWO) initiative will deliver on the Coalition Government's election promise of an additional 150 welfare officers over the next four years to assist primary school students across the state.
